What is Staging?

Staging is the process of preparing a home to sell for the highest possible price and in the shortest amount of time. This can be a simple process from removing clutter and rearranging furniture to completely redecorating the entire home.


What is an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP™)?

An ASP™ is a real estate staging professional who has completed a rigorous training program covering specific techniques and concepts in home presentation and Staging. Upon course completion, the student is awarded the Accredited Staging Professional designation which allows him/her to professionally Stage homes.


Why should I Stage® my house?

I live in a hot housing market, do I need to have my house Staged?

Yes! Even in a hot market you can benefit from home staging. Staged homes sell faster and for more money than similar non-staged homes. Buyers are offering full price for undesirable homes when the market is hot..can you imagine what a Buyer would pay for your home once it has been Staged! If you want to sell your home quickly and for top dollar, Staging is the key to your success in any market.


How much does Staging® cost?

You do not have to spend a lot of money to Stage your home for sale. It can be as simple as repainting and removing clutter or hiring a professional to do the work for you. Keep in mind the money you invest in Staging® your home will be considerably less than your first price reduction! According to the National Association of Realtors, Home Sellers who typically spend between 1-3% of the value of their home on staging and improvements will usually return (ROI) between 8-10% of their home value in sales price!  


Do I have to Stage® an entire home or just a few rooms?

No. For vacant homes we recommend concentrating on the main living areas of the home. Focusing on the formal living/dining areas, kitchen/baths and Master Bedroom create an overall good impression as Buyers tour the home and help keep the costs down.
